Basketball Station Team Challenge
Welcome to the Basketball Station Team Challenge! This is a great way for students to practice their skills and compete with their classmates. This challenge includes chest & bounce passes, 1 hand dribbling, 2 hands dribbling simultaneously, R/L layups, free throws, and 3-point shots.
Download the PDFs to get started. The class set-up and student printout are included, as well as a list of all the equipment you’ll need. Also, be sure to have 4 basketball hoops, 8 cones, 9 basketballs, 2 poly spots, and 1 paper scoring sheet per team ready to go. And don’t forget the pen or pencil for each team!
Following the setup, divide your class into 8 groups and let the fun begin! Students will love feeling like they’re part of a real team as they work together to score points. Additionally, The slides in the PDF provide more detailed instructions on how to run the challenge.
